Senior Financial Analyst, Startup Sales - AWS APJC Finance

AWS Finance seeks a Financial Analyst to support the Startup Sales organization in APJ (Asia-Pacific and Japan). This role provides analytical and operational support including financial analysis, metrics Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of building financial and operational reports/data sets that inform business decision-making experience - 5+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience - 5+ years of dissecting financial data and identifying patterns that support business strategy experience - 5+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience - 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience - Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or a related analytical field (e.g., engineering, math, computer science), or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience Preferred: - 4+ years of participating in continuous improvement projects in your team to scale and improve controllership with measurable results experience - Experience working with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (examples: SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (examples: Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards) - Experience in financial modeling, or experience in creating process improvements with automation and analysis - Experience working in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment - Experience managing multiple competing priorities simultaneously and driving goals to completion Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
