Category Manager - Private Brands (Hardlines)

Amazon Australia's Retail team is looking for a Private Brands Category Manager to join us as we continue growing and setting new standards in e-commerce for Australian customers. In this role, you will Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of retail, operations, product or program management, or business management/consulting with negotiations and delivering results experience - Bachelor's degree, or 3+ years of professional or military experience - Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership - 3+ years of with Excel experience Preferred: - Experience managing large data sets and utilizing to drive performance and process improvements - Knowledge of Excel and extracting data through varied reporting tools in order to drive and influence business decisions - Experience managing the end-to-end product life cycle as a product manager - Experience influencing multiple stakeholders and leading cross functional teams across geographies and business units - Experience managing and quantifying improvements in customer experience or value for the business resulting from research outcomes - Experience in retail, project management, supply chain, inventory management, sourcing, finance and/or consulting - Strong proficiency in Excel and/or SQL for data analysis and reporting - Experience in pricing strategy, promotional planning, and inventory management - Experience in private label, own-brand, or FMCG commercial roles - Understanding of brand strategy, positioning, or consumer insights Acknowledgement of country: In the spirit of reconciliation Amazon acknowledges the Traditional Custodians of country throughout Australia and their connections to land, sea and community.
