Vice President, Regional Quality Lead

This Opportunity WSP is currently initiating a search for a full-time Vice President, Regional Quality Lead to support the New York State Transportation and Infrastructure Region in the New York City office. The selected candidate will be involved with Transportation & Infrastructure projects and be an integral part of a growing ISO 9001 compliant organization assuring consistent production of quality deliverables meeting our client’s objectives. Your Impact This position involves oversight of NYS T&I Quality Assurance and may include the following functions: Oversee all NYS T&I Quality Managers and assign Quality Managers to each NYS T&I Projects. Develop Quality Managers within NYS T&I Region. Monitor and enforce quality standards across contractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, regulatory requirements, and company policies Monitor and enforce quality standards to ensure compliance with client procedures, regulatory requirements, and company policies Identify opportunities for improvement of process & procedure deficiencies, determine overlapping or redundant processes impacting the delivery of consistent quality product. Review and approve project quality management plans. Perform quality assurance reviews as required. Assist with writing project proposals and preparing budgets. Serve as Quality Manager on specific active projects. Conduct Quality audits. Provide Quality support during design and construction activities. Attend meetings. Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures. Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs. Who You Are Required Qualifications Bachelor's Degree 12+ years of relevant post education experience in Quality Management, 5 years of managerial experience ISO 9001 Certified Quality Manager Experience to include: Preferred areas of experience should include one or more of the following categories: transportation, infrastructure, or governmental Must be able to effectively communicate information and ideas both orally and in writing Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP’s health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies Must be flexible to a variety of schedules to meet business needs and able to prioritize responsibilities and quickly adapt to change in a pressure work environment Preferred Qualifications Master's Degree WSP Benefits: WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee’s career. Compensation: Expected Salary (all locations): $175,000 - $245,000 WSP USA is providing the compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that the company in good faith believes it might pay and/or offer for this position based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities in addition to internal equity and geographic location.
