Senior Engineer - Electrical Building Services

The production of electrical building services designs predominantly for Railway Stations and other Railway Buildings, working individually or as part of a team. Prepare, coordinate, and monitor a project, from the initial conception to the schedule and final completion. Supervise and mentor Assistant Engineers/ Engineers in day to day activities Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. Experience of 8-11 years's of working with Electrical design. Qualifications meeting the requirements for Chartership with a Engineering Institution. Qualifications in the requirements of BS7671, BS5266 etc. (e.g. City & Guilds Requirements for Electrical Installations (2382). Extensive experience of working within a rail station environment and good working knowledge of Network Rail, TfL & LUL standards. Experience of contributing to the electrical design on multidisciplinary projects and knowledge of rail design assurance processes. Good knowledge and understanding of the requirements necessary to develop and progress projects through the early stages of the lifecycle - LUL, GRIP and RIBA. Competent in the production or modification of CAD drawings using an industry standard CAD system. Experience of electrical design in the Rail environment Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
