Senior Cloud Operations Engineer

Operations Deployment & Provisioning (ODP) is a global operations team at Oracle NetSuite, which is responsible for managing infrastructure in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) for the NetSuite enterprise software. ODP manages infrastructure in regions across the globe with thousands of hosts covering the Americas, APAC, and EMEA. We both provision and maintain the environments in OCI using highly scalable infrastructure-as-code technologies. We are seeking a motivated operations engineer to fulfill the Senior Cloud Operations Engineer role to contribute to our day-to-day infrastructure management deployments, including provisioning and maintaining OCI hosts. Qualifications: 5+ years provisioning Linux, SSH and Data Center (OCI, AWS, Azure, etc.) technologies. Knowledge of technology stacks: applications, networks, security lists, servers, storage, load balancers, containers, Kubernetes Skill in troubleshooting, log review, and command understanding, and coding logic. Strong communication and writing skills. Preferred Qualifications: Degree in computer science or related work experience. Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). Knowledge of Terraform. Knowledge of SaltStack or other configuration management tools. Experience with JIRA, Confluence and repositories (GitLab)
