Senior BIM Technician, Rail Civils

WSP is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior BIM Technician – Civils to support the design and delivery of Lineside Rail Infrastructure Projects & Level Crossing Projects in UK-GCC T&I Team. The candidate to have expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) and CAD design, ensuring accurate, coordinated, and efficient design outputs that meet project standards and client requirements. Bachelor’s Degree Civil / Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent industry experience. 8 - 12 years’ experience in Rail infrastructure Current competencies with relevant Rail Authorities (e.g. Network Rail, London Underground, etc). Ability to work on 3D MicroStation, AECOsim / OpenBuilding Designer, AutoCAD, Revit in adherence to defined CAD & BIM Standards. Perform clash detection using Navisworks / iTwin. Ability to build strong working relationships. Ability to work well in a team environment as well as being a self-starter able to work unsupervised. Qualification Stream Civil Engineering Mandatory Skills Station Platform Designs, Level crossings, Ancillary Civils, UTX, URX, Walkways Desirable Skills: Software experience in MicroStation, AecoSim, AutoCAD, ProjectWise, iTwin, Open Rail.
