As a Proposal Specialist within WSP’s Strategic Opportunities and Proposals Team for the Earth & Environment business in Quebec, you will play a key role in developing clear, compelling, and client-focused proposals for strategic opportunities across Quebec and, as required, elsewhere in Canada. Working closely with technical experts, project managers, business development leaders, and senior leadership, you will help position WSP for success on complex, multidisciplinary pursuits. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced proposal professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings structure and strategic thinking to proposal development, and can guide teams in producing compliant, persuasive, and high-quality submissions tailored to client requirements and opportunity-specific challenges. Through your work, you will directly contribute to securing projects that positively impact communities, advance sustainability goals, and strengthen WSP’s leadership position within the architecture, engineering, and construction industry. Your Impact Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), procurement documents, and business opportunities to develop winning proposal strategies aligned with client priorities. Lead, coordinate, write, and edit proposal submissions from kick-off through final delivery, ensuring quality, compliance, and alignment with WSP’s proposal standards. Support strategic opportunities across Quebec and, when required, throughout Canada by collaborating with multidisciplinary teams across multiple regions. Manage proposal schedules, milestones, and deliverables while fostering collaboration among technical, operational, and leadership teams. Engage technical subject matter experts to gather content and transform complex information into clear, compelling, client-focused proposals. Customize resumes, project descriptions, and corporate content to create tailored submissions that resonate with client needs and priorities. Support interview preparation through the development of presentations, key messaging, and rehearsal coordination. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by sharing lessons learned, supporting proposal best practices, and enhancing tools, templates, and processes. The Skills That Set You Apart Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in a proposal coordination, proposal specialist, or proposal management role within the architecture, engineering, and construction sector or another professional services environment. Demonstrated experience supporting strategic opportunities and complex proposal submissions in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in French; professional working proficiency in English is desirable to collaborate with teams and stakeholders across Canada. Advanced English proficiency is considered an asset. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign and Acrobat), as well as familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools. Knowledge of emerging artificial intelligence tools such as Copilot and Claude is considered an asset. Knowledge of provincial and federal procurement and proposal processes is considered an asset. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment; flexibility to work occasional additional hours when required. Familiarity with APMP , Shipley methodology , or other recognized proposal development frameworks and best practices is considered an asset. Why Choose WSP?
