Principal BIM Technician - Civils

Principal BIM Technician – Civils WSP is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Principal BIM Technician – Civils to support the design and delivery of Transport & Infrastructure projects within the GCC Switzerland Team. The role is responsible for leading the delivery of BIM and digital engineering services across underground works, tunnels, rail infrastructure, highways, utilities, stations, cut-and-cover structures, retaining structures, and multidisciplinary civil infrastructure projects . The position combines technical BIM leadership, project delivery, resource management, quality assurance, client coordination, digital innovation, and team development to ensure efficient, high-quality project execution aligned with WSP Switzerland standards and project requirements. Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Civil Engineering, or equivalent industry experience. 10 to 15 years of experience in the infrastructure sector. Proficiency in 2D and 3D modelling using Revit in accordance with defined CAD and BIM standards. Experience performing clash detection using Navisworks. Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work effectively within a team environment and independently with minimal supervision.
