Head - Building Services (MEP )

GCC UK Building Services is an established team and is responsible for delivering comprehensive planning, design, and consultancy services, to both private and public sector clients in the UK. Projects vary from small single discipline tasks to supporting major multidisciplinary projects. The successful candidate, working with the UK based teams, will bring their expertise, capability, and knowledge to provide operational leadership to our existing team to enable them to meet the business and client needs. As GCC Head of UK Building Services, you will be responsible for the health, safety & welfare of the team. The Head of Department is expected to demonstrate effective & visible leadership, focusing on the ongoing engagement and retention of employees through the development of individuals and building high performing teams. Your role is to drive performance, innovation, and efficiency to achieve defined commercial and growth targets. You will work closely with UK Building Services leadership team and be a member of the India Senior Management Team, required to demonstrate collaborative behaviours to support the development and enhancement of the wider business. You will be responsible for the operational, financial and commercial delivery of projects undertaken by the team. Take full responsibility for the strategic direction, operational efficiency, and growth of the Building Services team. You will work closely with UK Building Services leadership team and be a member of the India Senior Management Team, required to demonstrate collaborative behaviours to support the development and enhancement of the wider business. The ideal candidate shall bring a strong understanding of the UK Building Services industry Proven track record of successfully leading large, complex teams and projects, particularly in a consulting capacity. Strong vision and enthusiasm for driving the growth and impact of the Building Services unit in alignment with the organization’s strategic objectives. Bachelor / Master’s degree in related discipline CEng (or equivalent) with membership in an accredited engineering body. Experienced professional with substantial experience in people management, business objectives delivery / leadership in a consulting engineering environment. 20+ years of relevant experience.
