The Biodiversity Consultant will provide technical support in ornithological and biodiversity services for national and international projects, contributing to environmental assessments, permitting processes, and ecological design. The role involves bird survey analysis and modelling, impact assessment, mitigation support, and report preparation, working within multidisciplinary teams across Italy and Europe in compliance with applicable national and EU legislation. Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Ecology, Ornithology, Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, or related fields. Additional training in ornithology, biodiversity assessment, or environmental impact assessment is an advantage. Experience Level Typically 3–6 years of professional experience in bird ecology, environmental consultancy, or applied ecological assessment. Experience working on multi-country or international projects is considered a strong asset. BGV: Employment with WSP India is subject to the successful completion of a background verification (“BGV”) check conducted by a third-party agency appointed by WSP India.
