This is a leadership role focused on driving high-quality delivery of UK highways design projects, working closely with UK-based teams and supporting large-scale infrastructure programmes. The role requires a strong blend of technical expertise, project leadership, stakeholder management, and team development, contributing to both project execution and the growth of the Roads discipline within GCC. Key Competencies & Skills Mandatory Skills Minimum 5+ years of experience in UK highway design, including: Road geometry Pavement design Road restraint systems Signage and road markings Site clearance Strong proficiency in design tools such as: Civil 3D, OpenRoads, MX, PDS/Keyline, AutoCAD, ProjectWise Proven experience in: Team leadership and stakeholder management Project and resource management Delivering projects within budget and programme constraints Ability to produce technical reports, specifications, and design documentation Strong understanding of UK design standards and emerging industry trends Excellent communication, organisational, and time management skills Desired Skills Experience in financial/project cost management Chartered or Incorporated Engineer (or working towards it) Experience in Design & Build projects Exposure to Lean principles in project delivery Demonstrated experience working on multi-disciplinary projects Why Join Us Opportunity to work on high-impact UK infrastructure projects Exposure to global best practices and cutting-edge technologies Strong focus on career growth, leadership development, and technical excellence Inclusive and collaborative GCC ecosystem Ideal Candidate Profile A well-rounded leader who combines strong technical expertise with people leadership, capable of: Driving delivery excellence Managing complex stakeholder environments Building and growing high-performing teams Contributing to the strategic growth of the UK GCC Highways discipline.
