We are seeking an ambitious and dynamic Associate to join our Decarbonisation and Resilience team within the Sustainability Advisory GCC. This role is open for either of our office locations in India.i.e. Noida, Mumbai and Bangalore. The team supports clients across net zero and carbon strategy; whole-life carbon assessment; sustainability certification; climate change vulnerability, resilience and adaptation; and industrial decarbonisation; for the UK based projects. 10+ years of relevant experience in sustainability, decarbonisation, climate resilience or a related field. A relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability, environmental science, architecture, mechanical engineering, energy engineering, process engineering or a related discipline, together with membership of an appropriate environmental, architectural or sustainability professional body. Demonstrable experience of managing projects, teams and client relationships in a consultancy environment, supported by strong personal organisation, time management and resource-planning skills. Good knowledge of relevant UK and European legislation, as well as UK and international assessment methods, standards and protocols. A strong understanding of, and enthusiasm for, energy and sustainability. Demonstrable experience of supporting business development and preparing successful bids and proposals. Strong research, analytical, technical writing, presentation and communication skills. A proactive, can-do attitude, with curiosity and an appetite to learn and grow. Proven ability to work collaboratively across disciplines, cultures and geographies. Commercial and practical understanding of building design, construction or energy projects would be advantageous. Chartered status, or active progress towards chartership, is desirable but not essential.
