Assistant Analyst

The candidate will support the Corporate ESG (Environmental, Social & Governance) team in the UK, to provide data analysis and under the direction of WSP India GCC Research & Insights Function. The candidate needs to be comfortable working with quantitative and qualitative data in all its forms, be an advanced user of Excel and reporting tools such as Power BI and be confident in using business data and analytics. Alongside strong data analytical skills, the candidate must be detail-oriented, have exceptional administrative and organisational skills and must have excellent written and verbal communication abilities in the English language. The role reports to the India Head of Research & Insights, working closely with the Director of Corporate ESG in the UK and other team members. At least 2-3 years of professional experience (or equivalent educational experience) in data management and analysis. Following task/project allocation, can prioritise and manage their own workload Organised in the way they work and can set up and follow new processes in the team A clear communicator with both peers and senior stakeholders Willingness to learn / be proactive Analytical mind Engage with team culture and collaboration European language an advantage Well versed in Power BI, Microsoft Office Programs such as Teams, Word, and Excel, Access (Access is a bonus but can be learnt with use). Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Excellent customer service approach to working with other departments and teams. Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with time-sensitive and, at times, commercially or strategically confidential workloads.
