Strategic Design Leader

Accountabilities: Lead discovery and problem-framing activities for complex transformation, modernization, and innovation initiatives, helping teams reduce ambiguity and define clear directions. Integrate customer needs, business objectives, operational realities, and technical feasibility into cohesive strategic perspectives. Translate complex challenges into hypotheses, decisions, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes. Facilitate discussions with senior stakeholders, aligning competing perspectives and building consensus around strategic priorities. Define experience visions, guiding principles, customer journeys, service ecosystems, and future-state concepts that support transformation. Identify friction points, opportunities, and intervention moments across customer channels, organizational roles, and operating models. Translate strategic recommendations into experience frameworks, roadmaps, and prototype briefs that guide execution. Ensure proposed solutions are financially viable, operationally realistic, and aligned with business goals. Collaborate with account and delivery leaders to shape strategic opportunities, client propositions, and new business pursuits. Develop proposal narratives, methodologies, workstreams, staffing plans, estimates, and governance structures. Create points of view, demonstrations, and prototype narratives that help clients evaluate opportunities and make informed decisions. Participate in pitches, workshops, executive meetings, and follow-up discussions to advance client engagements. Combine user research, market intelligence, competitive analysis, stakeholder perspectives, and operational data into meaningful insights. Distinguish validated evidence from assumptions, identify information gaps, and turn findings into clear recommendations and decision-ready narratives. Produce executive presentations, strategic documents, proposals, workshop materials, transformation narratives, and decision-support tools. Maintain high standards of information architecture, visual storytelling, and editorial quality across all deliverables. Leverage AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, Figma AI, Miro AI, and research agents to accelerate research, synthesis, content development, and prototyping. Establish repeatable AI-supported workflows with appropriate verification, judgment, and quality assurance. Help teams use AI to expand delivery capabilities while preserving strategic depth and avoiding generic outputs. Provide strategic guidance to researchers, service designers, UX and product designers, content strategists, and solution teams. Translate executive vision into practical briefs, working frameworks, and quality standards, influencing outcomes across teams without relying on formal reporting authority. Requirements: More than 10 years of experience in experience strategy, service design, innovation, consulting, product strategy, digital transformation, or related fields. Proven ownership of complex client engagements, from initial problem framing through strategic recommendations and concept definition. Experience working directly with senior client stakeholders and account leadership to shape direction and deliver results. A strong portfolio demonstrating executive-level narratives, strategic deliverables, and transformation initiatives. Advanced facilitation skills, with the ability to create productive discussions and alignment among stakeholders with different perspectives. Strong analytical and synthesis capabilities, translating complex and varied inputs into clear, actionable insights. Excellent written communication skills and the ability to produce polished, executive-ready content. Confident presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex strategic concepts in a clear and compelling way. Proven ability to manage multiple high-priority workstreams while maintaining consistency, narrative clarity, and delivery quality. Professional fluency in English and Spanish is strongly preferred, given the role's focus on Latin America. Product Management certification is considered an additional advantage.
