Software Publisher Services – Manager

Accountabilities: Lead and perform all aspects of client audits, including audit planning, execution, data analytics, interviews, calculations, reporting, and final deliverables. Manage multiple client engagements simultaneously, tracking KPIs, deadlines, milestones, and overall project performance. Perform and oversee detailed Excel-based analysis for audits, internal initiatives, and other client services. Prepare, review, and deliver high-quality client reports, calculations, and other engagement materials. Develop a strong understanding of clients’ businesses, technologies, software licensing environments, contractual obligations, and compliance risks. Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients and licensees through effective communication, high-quality execution, and timely delivery. Coordinate with cross-functional teams and adapt audit approaches to different client environments, cultural contexts, and global time zones. Identify opportunities to improve methodologies, workflows, services, and operational processes for both internal teams and clients. Support the development and implementation of operational policies and infrastructure as the organization continues to grow. Supervise, coach, and mentor professionals at different levels, including providing performance feedback, conducting reviews, supporting training, and reinforcing professional standards. Participate in recruiting and developing talented professionals and contribute to building a strong, collaborative team culture. Contribute to sales pursuits and business development activities related to royalty, software licensing, and contract compliance services. Maintain awareness of relevant industry trends, compliance practices, technologies, and emerging risks. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related discipline; professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, or CISA are advantageous. 8+ years of experience in professional services, auditing, compliance, or large IT organizations. Experience with third-party audits, contractual reviews, software licensing, contract compliance, royalty auditing, or related services is preferred. Experience within a Big Four compliance or advisory practice is beneficial but not required. Strong understanding of software licensing agreements, business processes, internal controls, IT controls, risk management, and relevant compliance standards. Strong auditing and/or technology control environment experience, with the ability to apply technology-based tools and methodologies to professional services engagements. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, with strong analytical and data interpretation capabilities. Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, including the ability to explain complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences. Strong client relationship skills, with a demonstrated ability to establish trust and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and internal teams. Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and comfortable taking ownership of complex projects independently and collaboratively. Proven leadership and people-management capabilities, including coaching, mentoring, motivating, and developing team members. Ability to manage competing priorities across multiple engagements, clients, teams, and international time zones. Adaptability and cultural awareness when working with global clients and licensees in varied business environments. Additional technical experience with Windows or UNIX/Linux administration, Active Directory, Windows Server, SAM tools, SQL, Access, ACL, VB, Shell, Perl, or macros is advantageous but not essential.
