Global Payroll Operations Supervisor

Accountabilities: Lead end-to-end payroll operations in Brazil, ensuring accurate, compliant, and on-time payroll delivery. Drive payroll implementations for new customers, including data migration, parallel runs, configuration, validation, and go-live support. Configure, troubleshoot, and validate Brazilian payroll processes using local payroll software such as Senior alongside the native payroll platform. Lead and develop a team of payroll operations specialists, including hiring, onboarding, training, performance management, and professional development. Establish and monitor team KPIs, SLAs, quality standards, deadlines, and operational performance. Develop scalable, repeatable processes and SOPs that reduce manual errors and make operations easier to learn, expand, and measure. Manage customer and employee inquiries through operational cases, ensuring timely resolution and consistent service standards. Support issue resolution involving government agencies and authorities, including eSocial, INSS, Receita Federal, FGTS, and Caixa, as well as external partners and customers. Partner with Product and Engineering teams to ensure payroll technology addresses Brazilian statutory and tax requirements, including INSS, FGTS, eSocial, 13th salary, férias, and rescisão. Contribute to new product and customer launches by translating operational requirements into implementation plans, resources, and processes. Identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. Monitor operational progress and communicate risks, requirements, and performance insights to relevant stakeholders. Requirements 7+ years of professional experience in Brazilian payroll processing or payroll operations. 3+ years of experience managing payroll operations professionals, including experience leading teams of 6 or more people. Strong knowledge of end-to-end Brazilian payroll procedures and legislation, including INSS, FGTS, eSocial, IRRF, 13th salary, férias, and rescisão/termination calculations. Hands-on experience with Brazilian payroll software such as Senior, including configuration, troubleshooting, and payroll-output validation. Proven experience leading customer payroll implementations in Brazil, including data migration, parallel payroll runs, and go-live activities. Experience with both in-house payroll processing and payroll operations delivered through partners or BPO providers. Strong planning, organization, and prioritization skills, with the ability to balance recurring operations and ad hoc projects. Experience using Google Workspace or Microsoft Office, particularly Sheets/Excel and Docs, for analysis, reporting, and operational organization. Familiarity with Salesforce queues, Jira, and Confluence is a plus. Experience working with payroll-related systems, platforms, and software. Strong problem-solving and analytical capabilities, with a focus on operational accuracy and continuous improvement. Fluency in Portuguese and strong English communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong people leadership, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
