Associate Product Manager, BMO Global Asset Management

Accountabilities:: Support investment operations by executing product and service processes accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with established operational, financial, and regulatory controls. Provide guidance to assigned business groups on solution implementation and contribute to strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders. Coordinate and project-manage the delivery of regulatory and continuous documentation requirements. Respond to standard and non-standard inquiries from internal business partners and external customers, providing accurate, consistent, and knowledgeable information. Monitor performance and service levels, identify issues, resolve straightforward problems, and escalate more complex or non-routine matters when appropriate. Analyze business data and information to identify trends, develop insights, and provide practical recommendations to support decision-making. Support vendor management activities, including oversight, governance, and adherence to procurement policies and established controls. Contribute to change management activities, with a focus on execution, implementation, adoption, and sustainment. Ensure transactions, activities, and services are completed accurately and within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Review and reconcile information and documentation to confirm completeness, accuracy, and compliance. Identify operational issues and risks, determine appropriate solutions, and escalate matters when required. Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support business objectives and service delivery. Maintain knowledge of regulatory requirements and operational risks to support sound decisions and protect operational integrity. Participate in the design, testing, implementation, and improvement of processes, systems, products, and services. Contribute to the development of tools and training materials designed to improve business performance and stakeholder outcomes. Identify opportunities for creative solutions and continuous improvement across business processes and procedures. Apply sound judgment and problem-solving skills while operating within established policies, risk frameworks, controls, laws, and regulations. Requirements: Typically 3–5 years of relevant professional experience combined with a post-secondary degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. In-depth knowledge and practical experience with relevant systems, technology, and operational tools. Strong understanding of key products, services, processes, and controls within a business or investment operations environment. Knowledge of applicable risk management and regulatory requirements. Strong prioritization and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and deadlines effectively. Strong customer service and stakeholder management capabilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively across internal and external groups. Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, including the ability to interpret data and develop actionable recommendations. Ability to influence stakeholders and communicate effectively when coordinating projects, resolving issues, or implementing changes. Ability to work independently while knowing when to seek guidance or escalate complex matters. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy, compliance, and service quality. Ability to exercise sound judgment and make risk-informed decisions within established guidelines. Benefits: Salary range of CAD $45,000–$100,000 . Salaried, full-time position.
