Senior Business Analyst, Actimize (Payments & financial Fraud)

So, what’s the role all about?
We are looking for a talented and motivated Senior Business Analyst – Integrated Fraud Management (IFM) to join our NICE Actimize Professional Services team in Pune. You will work closely with clients, Architects, Implementers, QA, Product Management, R&D, and Project Managers to understand and analyze business requirements and support the implementation of fraud-management solutions. The role is focused on requirements analysis, data mapping, fraud analytics, solution walkthroughs, and functional validation across banking and financial services. The role requires a good understanding of fraud-management processes, strong Business Analysis skills, and the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional delivery teams.

How will you make an impact?

• Work directly with clients to understand business requirements and support the implementation of NICE Actimize Integrated Fraud Management (IFM) solutions.
• Conduct and support requirement-gathering sessions with client business, fraud, data, and technology stakeholders.
• Perform business and functional requirements analysis, including current-state (as-is) and future-state (to-be) analysis.
• Translate business and fraud requirements into functional requirements, use cases, process flows, functional specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Analyse client requirements against Actimize product capabilities and provide recommendations on the appropriate product functionality or configuration.
• Perform source-to-target data mapping, data-gap analysis, field-level analysis, and data validation required for fraud solution implementation.
• Analyse fraud scenarios, transaction patterns, rules, profiles, thresholds, alerts, and other relevant fraud-management requirements to support solution design and implementation.
• Prepare and deliver solution walkthroughs, functional demonstrations, and client presentations to explain proposed Actimize functionality and implementation approaches.
• Support Actimize solution implementation and configuration by working closely with Architects, Implementers, R&D, QA, Product Managers, and Project Managers.
• Support SIT, UAT, defect analysis, functional validation, and issue resolution, coordinating with the relevant client and internal teams.
• Identify functional gaps, data issues, and implementation challenges and work with the appropriate stakeholders to drive them to resolution.
• Provide practical product and fraud-domain guidance to clients during implementation while ensuring requirements remain aligned with the agreed solution scope.

Have you got what it takes?

• 5–8 years of experience in Business Analysis within the Banking and Financial Services domain, with experience in fraud-management products or fraud-solution implementations.
• Hands-on experience in fraud prevention, transaction monitoring, fraud management, or fraud-detection solutions, preferably in a product or implementation environment.
• Experience working as a Business Analyst on client-facing product implementation projects, including requirements gathering and functional analysis.
• Strong understanding of business and functional requirements analysis, including as-is/to-be processes, use cases, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Experience with data mapping, data-gap analysis, data validation, and transaction-data analysis.
• Good working knowledge of SQL for data analysis, validation, reconciliation, and investigation of data issues.
• Good understanding of fraud scenarios, detection rules, profiling, thresholds, alerts, and fraud analytics.
• Working knowledge of payment systems and payment journeys across different regions and payment methods globally, such as domestic and international payments, real-time payments, SEPA, SWIFT/Wire, and other payment rails.
• Experience preparing and delivering solution walkthroughs, functional demonstrations, and client presentations.
• Ability to understand client requirements and translate them into functional solutions aligned with product capabilities.
• Experience supporting SIT, UAT, defect analysis, functional validation, and implementation issue resolution.
• Knowledge of NICE Actimize IFM / IFM-X or other fraud-management products is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Strong communication, analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to work effectively with clients and cross-functional delivery teams.
• Knowledge of banking interfaces, XML/JSON, or file-based integrations is an advantage.

• NICE Actimize IFM / IFM-X or other fraud-management products
• SQL and data-analysis tools
• JIRA and Agile delivery tools
• MS Excel, MS Visio, and MS Teams
