Sr. Solutions Architect – Database Migration & Modernization Specialist

Are you an experienced presales Solutions Architect with deep expertise in databases, migrations, and modernization? AWS is seeking a Sr. Solutions Architect to serve as a trusted technical advisor to Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience - Skilled in relational data modeling, NoSQL data modeling (e.g., single-table design for DynamoDB), and choosing the right database for the right workload - Experience working with commercial relational databases (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server) and non-relational databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Redis, Couchbase, Neptune, Neo4j) - Experience with Terraform, CloudFormation, and/or CDK for database infrastructure automation - Strong understanding of how databases interact with GenAI workloads Preferred: - 6+ years of experience in a solutions architecture function, preferably with a focus in infrastructure, database, and/or networking - AWS Certifications: AWS Database Specialty, AWS Solutions Architect Professional, or equivalent certifications Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
