Sr. ProServe Cloud Architect, NatSec ProServe

This position requires that the candidate selected be a US Citizen and obtain and maintain an active TS/SCI security clearance with polygraph.The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team Basic qualifications: - 5+ years of cloud architecture and solution implementation experience - Strong hands-on development experience with modern programming languages (e.g., Python, Java) and data technologies (SQL, NoSQL, Hadoop, Spark, Kafka, Kinesis) - 3+ years of AWS service suite, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation), Security tools and frameworks, Compliance automation tool experience - Current, active US Government Security Clearance of TS/SCI with Polygraph Preferred: - Advanced technology degree or AWS Professional level certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect Professional, DevOps Engineer Professional) preferred - Deep understanding of AWS services across compute, storage, networking, security, databases, machine learning, and serverless technologies - Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR) - • Expertise in performance optimization and cost management for cloud environments - Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as part of pre-sales motion - Experience in technical pre-sales and mission-focused solution architecture, with demonstrated ability to drive revenue through technical leadership - Previous experience supporting federal/defense customers with complex enterprise cloud migrations and modernization initiatives, including classified environments Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
