Sr. Manager, Solutions Architecture — Communication Developer Services, AWS WWSO CDS

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience - 7+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience with distributed applications or cloud technologies. - 3+ years of people-management experience, leading and developing technical teams (Solutions Architects, engineers, or equivalent). - Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level. - Experience with cloud architecture and one or more communication / customer-engagement domains (messaging, email, CPaaS, or marketing technology). Preferred: - Experience developing, deploying and managing AI products at scale - Experience leading Specialist or GTM-aligned Solutions Architecture teams within a cloud or SaaS provider. - Hands-on familiarity with Amazon SES and AWS End User Messaging, or comparable messaging/email platforms. - Track record of creating and leading business initiatives — in addition to managing and growing people — that drove measurable adoption or revenue growth. - Experience partnering with product/service teams to shape roadmap based on field and customer feedback. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
