Senior Technical Program Manager, AWS Hardware Engineering Services, Specialized Platforms and Servers

Amazon Web Services (AWS) Hardware Engineering is a fast growing and leading-edge research and development team that creates enterprise compute and storage server designs for our innovative web service Basic qualifications: - 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience - 5+ years of technical product or program management experience - Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules - 7+ years of new hardware products development experience - Experienced in working with overseas CM/OEM/ODM/IHV vendors in product development Preferred: - 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience - Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules - Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership - Experience owning and driving large-scale cross-functional programs - Experienced in overseeing and reviewing operational excellence metrics for projects post-launch - Ability to apply critical thinking in complex situations; experience working in cross functional groups including mechanical Engineering, test, reliability, failure analysis - Experienced in identifying and mitigating supply chain constraints - Knowledge of compute and storage server architecture and design for large scale applications - Experience with server technologies such as: power optimization, board design, thermal, mechanical, BIOS, BMC, signal integrity, networking - Experienced in gathering system requirements and working with support teams to aid in the creation of server specifications - Inquisitive with technical and business skills to understand, test, and challenge while working harmoniously with the business and technology owners - Demonstrated ability to engage technology providers in the industry to track and apply emerging technologies to innovative server designs - A strong track record of executing in dynamic and fast-paced environments. Highly experienced with data-driven decision making - Experienced in maintaining high-level data security while working with external partners and customers. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
