Senior Manager, Migration/Modernization, AGS North America BD/GTM

AGS NAMER Migration/Modernization is a CxO and senior IT leaders’ advisory function within NAMER BD that helps AWS customers accelerate their migration and modernization outcomes leveraging AWS cloud and Basic qualifications: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience in strategic thinking about business, enterprise software products, and new technology platforms and architectures or equivalent - 10+ years of relevant experience in migration/modernization sales, advisory, and/or delivery at cloud technology, consulting, or within a large enterprise customer organization - Experience leading teams that sell and deliver migration/modernization engagements to enterprise customers - Demonstrated track record of building or scaling functions/teams — operating plans, competencies, engagement standards - Experience leading CxO and IT leaders’ engagements on migration/modernization with measurable business outcomes - Experience developing and closing complex, competitive deals, including commercial structuring and incentives - Strong interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills (both written and verbal) with senior executives, technical leaders, and cross-functional teams across AWS internal, customer, and partner orgs at multiple management levels - Strong analytical, synthesis, and problem-solving skills with comfort translating ambiguous information into structured experiments and scaling proven methods and tools - Track record of being right a lot, inventing and simplifying, and delivering results - Demonstrates strong business acumen, high judgment, ownership, and customer obsession Preferred: - 15+ years of relevant experience - Direct experience delivering migration/modernization engagements with customers with AWS as the target environment at enterprise scale - Deep experience with assessment, discovery, and dependency mapping tools for enterprise applications and systems - Deep knowledge of competitive migration/modernization landscape at hyper-scalers - Deep experience with migration/modernization business case development - Breadth of experience with industries, including financials services, retail/CPG, manufacturing, etc. - Diversity of partner GTM and co-sell experience with GSIs and consulting partners on migration/modernization Amazon is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of protected veteran status, disability, or other legally protected status. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
