Senior Electrical Design Engineer, APAC Substation Design Engineering

Amazon Web Services is seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer to become part of a world class engineering team to lead the Electrical design of our Data Center Substations across our rapidly expanding Asia Basic qualifications: - 6+ years of industrial or commercial engineering in mission critical facilities including but not limited to: data centers, power generation or oil and gas facilities experience - Bachelor’s degree in an electrical engineering or equivalent, including a minimum of 5 years of substation design experience. - 4+ years of Experience developing design documentation (plans, specifications, etc) for construction and/or permitting. - Experience in data center design, construction, operations, or facility maintenance - Experience researching new designs, technologies, and construction methods of data center equipment and facilities - Knowledge of critical data center mechanical and electrical equipment - Experience with design or construction administration of a variety of electrical distribution systems ranging from low voltage to high voltage Preferred: - Professional Engineering or Architectural License - Experience with building codes and regulations for your region - 3+ years of experience directly related to substation design supporting data center or mission critical facilities. - Solid understanding of critical data center electrical equipment. - Possess leadership and problem solving skills. - Be a motivated, highly dependable individual.
