Delivery Consultant - Migrations, Public Sector Professional Services - UK

The Amazon Web Services Professional Services (ProServe) team is seeking a skilled Delivery Consultant to join our team at Amazon Web Services (AWS). In this role, you'll work closely with customers to Basic qualifications: - Experience implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments - Migration strategy development and planning (6R framework) - Cloud Infrastructure Assessment (CIA) methodology - Mainframe migration and modernization techniques - Application discovery and dependency mapping - Migration tooling (Application Migration Service, Database Migration Service, Migration Hub) - Cutover planning and execution - Legacy system analysis and decommissioning - Risk mitigation and rollback strategies - AWS Transform Preferred: - Experience and technical expertise (design and implementation) in cloud computing technologies - Experience leading the design, development and deployment of business software at scale or recent hands-on technology infrastructure, network, compute, storage, and virtualization experience - Experience in configuration management using cloudformation, chef & puppet - Experience in large scale migration- data center to data center or data center to cloud infrastructure Amazon is an equal opportunities employer.
