Otis is growing, and we are looking for a Service Engineer to join our team in London. You will play an important role in ensuring passenger safety by maintaining a portfolio of lifts across North London. On a typical day, you will: Perform routine service and maintenance checks on a number of lifts across North London, covering areas such as Camden, Regent's Park, St Pancras and Bloomsbury. Be the face of the business, regularly providing clients with updates on the work carried out. Respond to unexpected breakdowns, working with passengers and clients to identify issues and provide effective technical solutions. Perform minor repairs. What's in it for me? Development and training: not only will we provide you with the tools, but we'll also give you the knowledge. You'll have access to our state-of-the-art training facility to help develop your skills and fill any gaps in your technical knowledge. Become a subject matter expert: we'll prioritise your technical development and give you the opportunity to pursue further qualifications, such as NVQ Level 4. You can also take advantage of our Employee Scholarship Program to support your career development beyond the tools. What will you need to be successful? Hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification in lift service, maintenance or repair. Be able to travel around London. Have at least 24 months' experience in the lift industry, ideally with experience working across equipment from manufacturers such as KONE, Schindler and others. Be comfortable communicating with clients, passengers and colleagues. Be curious, adaptable and comfortable working independently or as part of a team. Be comfortable using electronic and digital tools. We will provide comprehensive training across technology, processes and soft skills, while giving you the opportunity to share knowledge and ideas with experienced colleagues.
