Product Engineer - Automotive ICs (m/f/d)

As an Automotive Product Engineer , you will take responsibility for released IC products within the supply chain and play an important role in bringing new products successfully into high-volume production. Working at the intersection of product engineering, quality, manufacturing, test, and operations , you will contribute your technical expertise and structured problem-solving skills to continuously improve our automotive semiconductor products. Your Responsibilities: Take ownership of automotive IC products within the supply chain after product release Define and drive product characterization and qualification activities and document the results Support the ramp-up of new products , particularly in the UWB and RF/LF areas Track, analyze and report product performance regarding cost and quality Drive continuous product improvements related to cost reduction, quality enhancement and technical issues Lead and support operations projects , such as backend second-sourcing activities Your Profile: Degree from a Technical University or University of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule) in Physics, Electronics, Information and Computer Engineering or a related technical field 5+ years of experience in semiconductor industry (Product Engineering or a comparable role) Basic understanding of statistics Strong project management skills Experience with quality management methods such as FMEA, DOE and 8D is a benefit Knowledge of quality engineering, IC fabrication and IC testing is an advantage Strong customer-oriented mindset AI know-how is a plus Structured and analytical approach to your work Effective and confident communication across different teams and functions Proficiency in English Please note: The successful candidate may/will be responsible for security related tasks.
