About the role The role of Payroll Specialist requires solid foundational and working knowledge of the end-to-end payroll cycle. Hands-on experience with the various inputs and outputs, such as third-party interfaces, timekeeping, tax filing/compliance, accounting, benefits and other key areas that integrate with payroll is essential. Key Responsibilities: Employee inquiry resolution and advanced issue resolution Daily, proactive interactions with key internal business partners and customers Adherence to the defined payroll calendar Maintenance of standard work/procedures Integration data management (connector between Workday and SAP) Payroll reconciliations Maintenance of the payroll blueprint Report creation and analysis Collaboration with vendors Monitor banking files and address rejects Basic testing/QA of change requests In-depth research of escalated issues Payroll Lodgments Expat Payroll processing Year End submission Employee inquiry resolution and advanced issue resolution Daily, proactive interactions with key internal business partners and customers Adherence to the defined payroll calendar Maintenance of standard work/procedures Integration data management (connector between Workday and SAP) Payroll reconciliations Maintenance of the payroll blueprint Report creation and analysis Collaboration with vendors Monitor banking files and address rejects Basic testing/QA of change requests In-depth research of escalated issues Payroll Lodgments Expat Payroll processing Year End submissions Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary degree required payroll certification/qualification required 1 -4 years payroll experience in Malaysia Payroll SAP preferred with knowledge of Workday and associated integrations ACE Associate (Carrier continuous process improvement and quality assurance methodology) within a year of hire or within a year of notification under new job framework Benefits We are committed to offering competitive benefits programs for all of our employees and enhancing our programs when necessary.
