This is not a typical ticket-driven engineering role. You will work across healthcare products, go deep on systems such as Medplum, FHIR, EHR workflows and interoperability, and help us build reusable expertise across the vertical. You will: * Build production systems and rapid PoCs. * Develop deep expertise in healthcare workflows and infrastructure. * Contribute to open-source healthcare ecosystems such as Medplum. * Identify reusable patterns across projects. * Publish technical learnings and engage with the developer community. * Help Better become a strong healthcare product and engineering partner. We are looking for someone with strong engineering fundamentals, product judgement, high agency, and the ability to learn unfamiliar domains quickly. Prior healthcare experience is useful, but not required.
