Founding Product Manager

Operate is building AI tools to investigate production issues and find root causes. We’re looking for someone with deep experience in this space to help decide what we build and own finding and working with our earliest customers. What you’ll own- * Product direction: Understand how teams investigate production issues. Identify problems worth solving and work with engineering to shape the product. * Outreach and design partners: Find relevant teams, start conversations, run demos and turn interest into active deployments. * Adoption: Work closely with early users. Turn feedback and usage into product improvements and paying customers. * Industry presence: Represent Operate at meetups and conferences through technical talks, demos and conversations with practitioners. What you must bring- * Direct domain experience. You have worked in SRE, DevOps, observability, incident response or developer infrastructure. You understand the workflows, technical constraints and existing tools firsthand. * Evidence of building from zero and earning adoption. In this domain, you have either built a tool yourself as an engineer or led a product from its earliest stage as a PM. You can show what you built, the decisions you owned and how you got real users using it. * Comfort owning an external-facing role. You communicate technical ideas clearly, initiate outreach and are comfortable presenting to engineers at events and conferences. You want customer conversations to be a central part of your work. You might be an open-source creator or maintainer, an early engineer, a former founder or a technical PM. Your title matters less than the evidence above.
