**HelplineSoftware.com** # **B2B Sales Development Representative** Remote | U.S. cold calling We build on-call software for hotlines, emergency lines, and after-hours support. Our software routes urgent calls to the right person based on who’s on call. We need someone who can pick up the phone, ask good questions, and find organizations we can actually help. You’ll work directly with the founder to improve targeting, messaging, and discovery, with room to grow into broader ownership of outbound. ## **What you’ll do** * Research target accounts and build your own calling lists. * Spend most of your day cold-calling carefully selected U.S. business prospects. * Use discovery to identify real on-call routing problems, qualify meetings, and rule out poor fits. * Debug issues \- cold calling to new markets is hard, keep a pulse on what buyers want, and diagnose and fix your own calling funnel. You should have experience reviewing your own calls, applying feedback, and improving your targeting and conversations. ## **You’re a fit if** * You have 2+ years personally cold-calling U.S. businesses. Inbound support or B2C experience alone won’t qualify. * Thrive in unstructured environments: You can explain your own results: targets, qualified meetings that took place, and opportunities created. * You speak clear English, listen carefully, and ask useful follow-up questions. * You organize your work independently and do not require coaching \- you can function fully independently. ## **Required working hours** This role requires full overlap with U.S. Central business hours: 8:30 a.m.–5 p.m. Central Time. In India, that’s 7 p.m.–3:30 a.m. during U.S. daylight saving time and 8 p.m.–4:30 a.m. during U.S. standard time. You must be able to work this schedule reliably.
