The ideal candidate combines the mindset of a **developer, tester, product owner, and end user** to independently understand requirements, validate solutions, automate quality, identify improvements, and drive products from concept to production. ## Key Expectations ### AI-First Engineering * Use AI daily for coding, planning, debugging, testing, documentation, and delivery. * Leverage AI agents and modern engineering tools to improve productivity and quality. * Build scripts, automation, utilities, and productivity tools using AI-enhanced workflows. * Stay current with emerging AI engineering and agentic technologies. ### Development & Product Ownership * Strong coding and scripting fundamentals with the ability to review, understand, and validate application code. * Quickly understand architectures, APIs, business workflows, and integrations. * Own products end-to-end—from requirement analysis through production sign-off. * Identify functional gaps, edge cases, usability concerns, and enhancement opportunities. * Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure business expectations are met. ### Testing & Automation * Define test strategies, quality gates, and release criteria. * Validate functional, integration, regression, exploratory, and end-to-end scenarios. * Design and maintain automation frameworks and reusable test assets. * Build quality dashboards, validation utilities, and reporting solutions. ### Communication & Delivery * Prepare and maintain SDLC/STLC artifacts, release notes, and quality reports. * Confidently conduct demos, walkthroughs, and stakeholder discussions. * Deliver high-quality releases with strong ownership, accountability, and minimal production defects. ## Required Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Software Engineering, or related field. * 2-5 years of experience in Software Development, SDET, Quality Engineering, Test Automation, or hybrid Dev + QA roles. * Experience working within formal SDLC/STLC processes. ## Preferred Technical Skills **JavaScript/TypeScript, Python, MERN Stack, Playwright, Robot Framework, REST/GraphQL APIs, CI/CD, Git, Agile/Scrum, AWS, AI-assisted engineering tools.** ## What We Value **AI-native mindset • Ownership • Product thinking • Communication • Continuous learning • Bias for action • Attention to detail • Passion for building market-ready products**
