AI-First MERN Fullstack Engineer (4+ years) - Bangalore

Job Title: Lead AI-First Fullstack Engineer Reports to: Delivery Head Summary: We're looking for a highly innovative and skilled Lead AI-First Fullstack Engineer to drive the development of groundbreaking applications using an AI-first coding paradigm. The ideal candidate will be a pioneer in leveraging AI code generation tools, particularly Claude's code tool, to build applications from scratch using just prompts. You'll possess exceptional command over English and advanced prompt engineering techniques, coupled with strong architectural skills in JSON and database structures. This pivotal role involves thinking independently on large-scale solutions, breaking down complex problems, and using AI to generate comprehensive application code. You'll also be responsible for leading and mentoring a team while ensuring robust, scalable solutions on AWS, GCP, and Azure. Responsibilities: **Champion AI-First Development**: Lead the adoption and implementation of AI-first development methodologies, with a strong emphasis on generating application code using AI tools like Claude's code tool, starting from detailed prompts. **Prompt Engineering Expert**: Utilize advanced prompt engineering techniques and your excellent command of English to precisely define requirements and generate entire application codebases. **Architect and Design**: Independently architect and design scalable, resilient fullstack applications, focusing on robust JSON structures, efficient database schemas, and AI-driven agentic architectures. **Problem Decomposition**: Skillfully break down complex problems into clear, understandable components, translating them into effective prompts for AI code generation. **Fullstack Development**: Develop and maintain high-quality mobile (React Native) and responsive web (PWA) applications using React.js, react Native, Tailwind, and Node.js, ensuring seamless integration of AI capabilities. **Team Leadership & Mentorship**: Lead, mentor, and guide a team of developers in AI-first development practices, providing constructive code reviews and fostering a culture of continuous learning. **Cloud Deployment & Monitoring**: Manage and execute secure deployments to production environments across AWS, GCP, and Azure, monitoring performance and implementing solutions for high availability. **Documentation & Communication**: Produce clear and concise documentation of AI-generated code and architectural decisions. Possess excellent conversational skills for effective collaboration and knowledge sharing. **Research & Innovation**: Continuously research and stay ahead of the curve on the latest AI advancements, prompt engineering techniques, MERN stack technologies, and cloud services. Qualifications: * **Bachelor's degree (4 yrs)** or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. * **4-10 years of progressive experience** in fullstack development, with a significant focus on Node.js backend. * Candidates with **Bangalore domicile preferred** * Demonstrable hands-on experience building applications from scratch primarily using AI code generation tools, especially Claude's code tool. * Exceptional command of English and proven expertise in prompt engineering techniques for AI code generation. * Strong architectural skills, with a deep understanding of JSON structures, database design, and large-scale solutioning. * Proven experience in leading, managing, and mentoring development teams. * Strong hands-on experience in React Native and/or React.js for building dynamic user interfaces. * Deep understanding and practical experience with MongoDB, including advanced query optimization and indexing. * Extensive experience with AWS services (e.g., Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, S3, DynamoDB, RDS, etc.); exposure to GCP and Azure is a plus. * Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to independently break down complex problems. * Strong documentation and conversational skills are highly preferred. * A strong "AI-first" mindset in approaching software development, with an understanding of AI integration patterns. * Certification in AWS is a significant plus.
