Staff Engineer, ServiceNow (CMDB & ATF)

REQUIREMENTS: Experience - 5+ years Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow platform testing and quality assurance processes Hands-on experience with ServiceNow ATF (Automated Test Framework) is mandatory Strong knowledge of CMDB concepts, data governance, and data hygiene best practices Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using ATF Good understanding of ServiceNow platform fundamentals and core functionalities Experience with Asset Management processes and ServiceNow Asset Management modules Knowledge of Compliance, Auditing, Access Management, and Security Controls within ServiceNow Hands-on experience testing integrations with third-party applications using REST APIs, SOAP services, or Integration Hub Experience supporting ServiceNow upgrades, clone activities, and post-upgrade validation testing Strong understanding of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing methodologies Ability to independently drive QE initiatives and establish testing best practices Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and defect management skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills CSA certification or relevant ServiceNow certifications will be an added advantage RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, execute, and maintain automated test cases using ServiceNow ATF Validate ServiceNow platform functionality across releases, enhancements, and configurations Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing activities Ensure CMDB data quality and support data hygiene initiatives across the platform Validate Asset Management, Compliance, Auditing, and Security Control processes Perform testing and validation of integrations with third-party systems and applications Support ServiceNow upgrade and clone activities, including impact assessment and testing Identify, document, track, and manage defects through resolution Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scripts, and testing documentation Collaborate with developers, administrators, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure quality deliverables Provide testing sign-off and quality assurance recommendations for production deployments Analyze test results and provide actionable insights to improve platform quality and stability Drive continuous improvement initiatives for ServiceNow QE processes and test automation Ensure adherence to organizational quality standards, governance, and best practices Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
