Senior Software Engineer - Web

Responsibilities ● Develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using JavaScript technologies. ● Build responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using frameworks like React.js, Next.js, or similar. ● Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to deliver high-quality features. ● Write reusable, efficient, and well-documented code. ● Monitor, Troubleshoot, debug, and improve application performance. ● Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions. ● Ensure best practices in security, scalability, and maintainability. ● Hands-on experience with npm packages and native webviews. ● Exposure to working and creating a native AI work environment and has a strong inclination to explore further using specialsied tools Qualifications ● 4+ years of experience in full-stack development with JavaScript. ● Strong proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and a good understanding of TypeScript are a plus. ● Hands-on experience with frontend frameworks such as React.js or Next.js. ● Strong backend development experience using Node.js and Express.js. ● Experience with REST APIs and third-party integrations. ● Good knowledge of databases like MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. ● Familiarity with version control systems like Git. ● Understanding of HTML5, CSS3, responsive design, and cross-browser compatibility. ● Experience with cloud platforms, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment processes is a plus. ● Good problem-solving and communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ● Experience with TypeScript, Docker, AWS. ● Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, Mocha, or playwright. ● Understanding of microservices architecture is an advantage. ● Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodology. ● Design and develop backend APIs and services using Node.js and Express.js or related frameworks. ● Work with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL. Responsible for safeguarding sensitive company data against unauthorized access, use, or disclosure, and for reporting any suspected security incidents in line with the organization's ISMS (Information Security Management System) policies and procedures.
