Associate Principal Engineer, CPQ

REQUIREMENTS: Total Experience: 9+ years Must have experience as a SAP CPQ Solution Architect / CPQ Technical Architect Should have exposure to customer-facing CPQ authority leading global CPQ design & delivery Should be able to lead end-to-end global SAP CPQ solution architecture for enterprise rollouts. Should have strong SAP C4C (Cloud for Customer) background. Should be able to own CPQ design across product configuration, pricing, quoting, BOM, approvals. Should be able to drive advanced CPQ scripting standards using IronPython. Should be able to architect integrations with SAP ERP/S/4HANA, CRM, Commerce, CPI/APIs. Must ensure replication of pricing/config logic across interconnected systems. Should be able to serve as the primary customer-facing CPQ expert in workshops and governance. Should be able to provide technical credibility to compete with specialist CPQ partners. Mentor and upskill CPQ consultants and technical developers in the team. Should have multiple SAP CPQ rollouts, deep Quote-to-Cash expertise. RESPONSIBILITIES: Understanding functional requirements thoroughly and analysing the client’s needs in the context of the project Define scalable architecture for complex rule engines and guided selling. Envisioning the overall solution for defined functional and non-functional requirements, and being able to define technologies, patterns, and frameworks to realize it. Determining and implementing design methodologies and tool sets Enabling application development by coordinating requirements, schedules, and activities. Being able to lead/support UAT and production roll outs. Creating, understanding, and validating WBS and estimated effort for given module/task, and being able to justify it. Addressing issues promptly, responding positively to setbacks and challenges with a mindset of continuous improvement Giving constructive feedback to the team members and setting clear expectations. Helping the team in troubleshooting and resolving of complex bugs Coming up with solutions to any issue that is raised during code/design review and being able to justify the decision taken. Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
