Technical Specialist

As a New Product Introduction (NPI) Engineer at Nokia, you'll play a crucial role in driving the successful launch of cutting‑edge network technologies. Collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams, you'll manage the end‑to‑end NPI process, from designing innovative network configurations, operating and maintaining lab infrastructure & test‑beds, to executing live product demonstrations and acceptance testing with customers. Must Have Skills Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent, with a range of 1 to 7 years' experience High motivation to work with access network technologies and products, and technical work experience in FTTH, GPON, P2P, OSS Knowledge of network forwarding and routing (NRS1, CCNA, or equivalent) and experience with containerized platforms (Docker, Kubernetes) and Python or equivalent Familiarity with Fixed Access Network (xPON) design principles (intent‑based networking). Strong troubleshooting experience with real‑world deployment issues (system‑level, underlay/overlay, multi‑vendor). Experience with automation and management platforms (YANG, REST, gNMI, Ansible, Python, API, YAML). Experienced with public cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS and Azure Working knowledge of cloud‑native technologies: Kubernetes, Docker, OpenShift, VMware, Openstack, container networking and AI/ML Knowledge Hands‑on experience on lab infrastructure management & maintenance, including test‑bed deployment, lab resource planning, hardware asset management, and maintaining lab readiness for NPI, PoC and customer demonstration. Nice to have Skills Familiarity with Testing, Debugging and Quality Engineering principles. Good understanding on security tools and testing. Good understanding of Software Architecture / Design. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Exposure to Telecommunication and Networking technologies. Understanding of web services, API, REST, RPC, and experience with Ansible or Python scripting
