SW QA Engineer 2

Join us as a Software QA Engineer, where you will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of next-generation optical networking solutions. In this role, you will design and implement comprehensive test strategies and automation frameworks for Optical DWDM equipment and protocols, including OTN, GBE, DWDM, and NBI interfaces (YANG, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC), along with system security. You will contribute across the testing lifecycle by performing both manual and automated testing, while driving continuous integration and execution to enable faster, high-quality releases. Must-have: Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, Computer Science, or EEE with strong academic performance, along with 3+ years of experience in embedded optical network element system testing (OTN, Ethernet, GMPLS, DWDM, NBI interfaces such as CLI, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC, and system security) Proficiency in test planning, execution, and defect tracking using standard configuration and test management tools Strong programming skills in Python (or a similar language) for developing and maintaining test automation frameworks Hands-on experience with NBI interfaces (CLI, NETCONF, RESTCONF, gRPC) in embedded system environments Nice-to-have: Understanding of system control plane concepts and working knowledge of L2/L3 networking products is an added advantage Familiarity with testing microservices and container-based applications, along with experience in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, and Git
