Senior Engineer - Vertical Transport System

WSP in the India is seeking a Consultant to Senior Consultant - Vertical Transportation (VT) to join our team in the India. We're looking for a professional with at least 08+ years of experience in the Lift and Escalator Industry, specializing in Vertical Transportation Consultancy, Lift Design, and Traffic Simulation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in EN81 or EN115 codes, and UK building codes. Responsibilities include developing VT design concepts, calculating lift specifications, and attending client and design team meetings. Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. Extensive experience in designing vertical transportation systems for diverse building types and sectors, with a strong understanding of VT codes, standards, and local building regulations. Ability to manage multiple projects, reviews, and deadlines, while adapting to changing demands. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment in delivering technical solutions. Excellent organizational, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team and engage effectively with clients. Proficient in English (both written and spoken), with a focus on continuous learning and professional development.
