Optoelectronic Manufacturing Test Engineer

As an Optoelectronic Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing our optoelectronics production testing processes. Your responsibilities will include supporting pluggable and Trosa testing at our contract manufacturers. Proficiency in data analysis tools like SQL and JMP is essential, along with a solid understanding of optical communication and electrical/optical test fundamentals. Familiarity with optical and electrical test equipment and experience with vb.net and/or Phyton are highly advantageous. You have: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field. Minimum 3-5 years of experience in optoelectronics product validation and testing, with a focus on optical communication and manufacturing. Proficiency in data analysis tools, particularly SQL and JMP, for efficient data handling and interpretation. Strong understanding of optical communication principles and electrical/optical test fundamentals, ensuring accurate test execution. Familiarity with optical and electrical test equipment, including their calibration and maintenance procedures. Experience with vb.net or similar programming languages for test automation, enhancing efficiency and accuracy. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, enabling effective troubleshooting and decision-making. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and prioritize tasks effectively. Effective communication and collaboration skills, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
