As part of our North American Mission Critical & Enterprise team, you'll play a vital role in pre-sales activities, engaging customers, and offering technical expertise. Your contributions will be key to driving sales and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with internal teams and customers, providing valuable network design support and recommendations. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, with a strong technical background. 3+ years of experience in a pre-sales engineering role, ideally in the optical networking industry, to bring valuable insights. Deep technical expertise in optical networking, including hardware, software, and network management, for effective solution design. Excellent communication and presentation skills to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences. Proven track record in successful customer engagements and solution presentations, demonstrating a results-driven approach. Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong analytical skills and a problem-solving mindset to tackle complex technical challenges effectively. Willingness to travel occasionally for customer meetings and internal collaborations, fostering strong relationships. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to optical networking, ensuring compliance and best practices.
