Lab IT Compute Architect / Solution Designer

Lab IT Compute Architect / Solution Designer is responsible and accountable for IT services in Laboratories, including but not limited to Lab networks, compute resources and security services. Solution Designer handles the full cycle of Service offerings, from collecting requirements to day 2 operations – Architecture, technical concept and design, configuration, functionalities, processes, standardization and performance. This is a global position to support Nokia ongoing Digitalization and AI journey. • Bachelors’ degree or engineering degree in Telecommunications/Information Technology/Computer Science or equivalent • Excellent oral and written communication skills in English • Minimum of 5+ years’ experience in Enterprise Compute solutions, Private cloud, Datacenter or Network design and deployment, 3+ year experience architecting and integrating private cloud solutions or datacenter virtualization • Knowledge in switching, routing and security • Strong knowledge in Linux OSes and virtualization platforms (Openstack, VMware, Openshift , Proxmox, etc.). • Deep Understanding of ITIL processes • Experience in handling large enterprise datacenter environment • Knowledge of datacenter design and deployment It would be nice if you also had: • Understanding of Infrastructure as Code. • Experience in automation and orchestration • Experience in coding as scripting • knowledge about Nokia Service Routers and Nokia SR Linux products • knowledge about Fortinet and Palo Alto Firewalls • Knowledge of standard Network infra protocols such as OSPF, BGP, QoS, VRRP, VxLAN etc.
