Junior Radio Engineer - Fixed Term

The team is responsible for the research, development, testing, and optimization of advanced Radio Access Network (RAN) technologies. By combining expertise in RF engineering, network performance, and wireless communications, the team contributes to the design and validation of innovative solutions that support the evolution of mobile networks. Working in a collaborative laboratory environment, team members are involved in RF measurements, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and the continuous improvement of next-generation connectivity technologies. This is a 12-month fixed-term opportunity with posibility of extension. Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Basic understanding of wireless communication principles (e.g., OFDM, MIMO, cellular concepts). Knowledge of radio network design principles and RF planning fundamentals. Experience working with measurement equipment (spectrum analyzers, signal generators, or similar). Familiarity with 4G (LTE) and/or 5G (NR) architecture and protocols. Basic understanding of radio propagation and antenna theory. Good analytical skills and attention to detail. Proficiency in English and Ukrainian both written and verbal. Nice to have Experience with network simulation tools (e.g., NS-3, MATLAB). Basic programming skills (e.g., Python, C++). Knowledge of Linux operating systems. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Prior hands-on experience with RF equipment or lab work. Familiarity with relevant radio standards and regulations. Basic scripting skills for test automation (Python or similar).
