Engineer - Hydraulic Modelling

As Engineer (Modelling) within our Water Team, you will provide technical support on water infrastructure projects to ensure accurate and efficient project delivery for internal and external clients. The role includes providing support on water planning and hydraulic modelling studies using industry standard software’s (Infoworks WS (Pro) / WaterCAD/WaterGems) as well as other projects requiring detailed technical analysis. You will be expected to use existing models as well as building new models to assess and understand asset performance. We are seeking candidates who are enthusiastic, willing to learn, self-motivated and passionate about delivering quality projects. • Postgraduate in Civil, Water Resource Engineering or Environmental Engineering or similar • Preferred, Member of a professional body like CIWEM, ICE, IEAUST etc.; working towards Chartered or equivalent Experience • 2-8 years of hands-on experience in Planning and Hydraulic Modelling for Water Infrastructure projects. • Skilled in hydraulic model build, verification and calibration • Experience in the design of water network for planned layouts and developments. • Past experience in AU/NZ projects is preferred; should at least have experience in overseas (UK/US/ME) Water and Wet Utilities projects. • Knowledge and understanding of international codes and standards. • Ability to work well as part of a team or on an individual basis. • Good report writing skills. • Experience with wastewater planning/ modelling is beneficial but not necessary.
