Support Engineer, SAP MM / WM / eWM (Evergreen)

Accountabilities:: Research, troubleshoot, and resolve complex customer issues using advanced knowledge of SAP functionality, technology, and business processes. Work closely with customers to understand their requirements, support business changes, and provide a consistently high-quality service experience. Configure, demonstrate, and advise customers on SAP MM, WM, and eWM functionality and best practices. Support country-specific tax, regulatory, and localization requirements, including Brazilian processes such as Nota Fiscal, tax calculation, and integration with fiscal solutions, as well as Mexican requirements. Support customized SAP environments and provide practical recommendations based on technical expertise and proven best practices. Develop application fixes for critical product defects or collaborate with development teams to deliver appropriate solutions. Provide hands-on technical assistance through remote client connectivity and specialized support tools, including work in test environments. Manage and resolve critical incidents within SLA-driven support environments while maintaining a structured and customer-focused approach. Participate proactively in a 24x7x365 global support organization and work flexible hours when required. Collaborate effectively with virtual teams and apply field experience to a diverse range of customer situations. Create and contribute to knowledge-transfer materials, runbooks, solution documentation, diagnostic tools, and internal knowledge bases. Identify and support process improvements that enhance the quality and efficiency of the customer experience. Take on additional job-related responsibilities based on business needs, progression, and available opportunities. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, a related field, or equivalent relevant professional experience. 5+ years of relevant SAP experience, with strong expertise in SAP MM and either WM or eWM. 5+ years of experience directly supporting application end users within a corporate environment. Proven experience with MM-WM and MM-eWM integration, configuration, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated experience supporting Brazilian SAP processes, including Nota Fiscal, tax calculation, and integration with fiscal solutions. Experience with Mexican tax, regulatory, and localization requirements is valuable. Strong experience supporting highly customized SAP environments, including Z routines, user exits, and enhancements. Experience handling critical incidents in SLA-driven application support environments. Proven background in SAP implementations, rollouts, or application support. Strong understanding of SAP business processes, maintenance and patching mechanics, architecture, navigation, configuration, and cross-module integration. Advanced knowledge of SAP application functionality, tables, relationships, and integration points. Strong development capabilities using the SAP toolset and a deep understanding of customization and extension methodologies. Excellent analytical and logical problem-solving abilities, particularly when investigating issues spanning multiple SAP modules. Experience conducting knowledge-transfer sessions and preparing runbooks, solution documentation, and related support materials. SAP certification is preferred. Experience with multiple SAP modules across SAP 4.x and ECC environments, including global implementations and localizations, is advantageous. Previous consulting experience is a plus. Exceptional troubleshooting skills, persistence, and attention to detail. Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong customer-service mindset and the ability to develop successful long-term client relationships. Ability to learn quickly and remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations. Comfortable working independently and collaboratively within a virtual, global team. Fluent Portuguese and English are required; Spanish proficiency is preferred.
