ServiceNow Implementation Specialist

Accountabilities:: Configure and implement approved ServiceNow capabilities based on validated requirements and architecture designs, prioritizing out-of-the-box functionality and reusable components. Configure and maintain forms, tables, Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Script Includes, Flow Designer flows, subflows and actions, catalog items, notifications, and approved portal or workspace components. Implement solutions across relevant ServiceNow capabilities, including ITSM, ITOM/Discovery, CMDB/CSDM, IntegrationHub, SPM, Performance Analytics, App Engine, and other assigned products. Build and configure REST/SOAP and IntegrationHub-based integrations, including spokes, actions, MID Servers, service accounts, and approved authentication and certificate patterns. Support end-to-end integration testing, operational handoffs, CMDB implementation, configuration-data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality activities. Prepare and execute controlled promotions to TEST and PROD using approved update-set, application-repository, and CI/CD practices, maintaining deployment plans, rollback procedures, release notes, and configuration evidence. Perform unit and functional validation and collaborate with testing teams on ATF, integration, regression, performance, and UAT activities. Provide late-window implementation and deployment support, including troubleshooting, post-production validation, and transition to operations teams. Help reduce technical debt and restore customized capabilities toward maintainable, upgrade-friendly out-of-the-box solutions where appropriate. Develop implementation guides, configuration documentation, demonstrations, knowledge articles, and transition materials, while supporting training and knowledge transfer when required. Requirements: 3+ years of hands-on ServiceNow implementation and configuration experience in enterprise environments. Demonstrated expertise in at least two ServiceNow capability areas, such as ITSM, ITOM/Discovery, CMDB/CSDM, IntegrationHub, SPM, Performance Analytics, App Engine, or SecOps. Strong hands-on experience with Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, ACLs, Script Includes, Flow Designer, catalog and workflow configuration, REST/SOAP APIs, and ServiceNow data and configuration concepts. Experience with controlled release promotion, update sets or application repositories, CI/CD practices, automated testing, and release documentation. ServiceNow CSA certification plus one or more relevant CIS certifications is strongly preferred, or may be required depending on the applicable labor category. Strong communication, collaboration, and requirements-translation skills, with the ability to work effectively across architecture, development, testing, operations, and customer stakeholder teams. Ability to support the assigned late implementation window as well as planned after-hours activities and rotating on-call events. U.S. citizenship and the ability to satisfy High Risk IT background-investigation and sensitive-information requirements. Federal consulting or financial-regulatory experience is preferred. Additional experience with App Engine Studio, UI Builder/Workspace, IntegrationHub, CMDB Health, or ATF is advantageous. Experience working within shared, multi-vendor ServiceNow environments with formal architecture and security governance is a plus.
