Senior Investigator- Data Centers

Accountabilities: Conduct and coordinate investigations involving misuse of assets, systems, and policies, as well as theft, vandalism, criminal activity, environmental matters, and health and safety compliance. Lead or support complex investigations requiring collaboration across internal departments, investigative teams, security resources, and external agencies. Review overt and covert video surveillance and assist with the setup and installation of basic analog and digital surveillance equipment. Follow applicable policies and federal and state requirements governing video surveillance and investigative activities. Support system health monitoring for Lenel video and access control systems. Identify, collect, preserve, retain, and distribute investigative evidence in accordance with established procedures. Coordinate the delivery and distribution of digital evidence and provide security video and cardkey access reports to support related investigations. Maintain accurate investigative databases, case information, analytics, and activity records. Prepare investigative reports, metric reports, and other documentation supporting business objectives and case outcomes. Develop and maintain professional relationships with law enforcement and other investigative partners. Provide security support for assisted terminations, workplace violence situations, emergencies, and other short-term operational needs when requested. Promote cooperation, resourcefulness, and innovative approaches to obtaining relevant investigative information. Review investigations on an ongoing basis and contribute to bringing cases to appropriate conclusions. Perform additional investigative and security-related duties as assigned. Requirements Bachelor’s degree combined with prior law enforcement investigative/detective experience and/or corporate investigations experience. Ability to obtain and maintain the required Private Investigator licensing and successfully complete the applicable licensing, training, and verification process. Experience conducting, leading, and coordinating complex investigations involving multiple teams or stakeholders. Knowledge of computer investigations, digital evidence, computer forensics, recovery, and analysis is preferred. Familiarity with internet crime investigation processes and related investigative databases. Knowledge of Lenel and Milestone systems is preferred. Experience with Microsoft Office and Kaseware case management software is advantageous. Strong investigative analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to evaluate complex situations and recommend appropriate solutions. Strong report-writing, verbal, written, and presentation skills. Ability to manage multiple investigations, projects, priorities, and deadlines simultaneously. Strong project management capabilities and excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently with limited supervision while maintaining effective communication with relevant stakeholders. Ability to build productive relationships with internal departments, investigative groups, security teams, and law enforcement agencies. Ability to travel as required and perform regular computer-based work, with occasional lifting/reaching and frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking. Benefits Annual salary of $110,000–$115,000 .
