Senior Account Executive (Public Relations)

Accountabilities: Serve as a primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of clients, maintaining clear and consistent communication through calls, email, and other channels. Lead client conversations and help ensure communications priorities and business objectives are accurately understood and addressed. Develop and execute creative media relations strategies designed to secure relevant coverage and strengthen client visibility. Draft and edit press releases, corporate biographies, media pitches, story angles, and other communications materials with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Research journalists, publications, podcasts, broadcast outlets, and other media channels to build targeted and effective media lists. Develop proactive pitches, news hooks, and newsjacking opportunities tailored to specific journalists and B2B or B2C audiences. Support senior team members with media list development, content creation, results measurement, and broader account activities. Coordinate internal and external deadlines, priorities, and deliverables while acting as an effective connector between clients and internal teams. Stay informed about media trends, emerging publications, relevant journalists, and industry topics to identify new storytelling opportunities. Requirements At least 3 years of relevant experience in public relations, communications, fintech, financial services, or a related field. Strong writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation skills, with the ability to turn complex business topics into compelling narratives. Genuine interest in financial services, fintech, insurtech, proptech, and the role strategic communications can play in business growth. Demonstrated ability to build productive relationships with clients, journalists, colleagues, and other stakeholders. Strong media awareness and curiosity, with an active interest in identifying new publications, writers, trends, and relevant conversations. Excellent organizational and project-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple assignments, deadlines, and client priorities simultaneously. A collaborative, supportive approach combined with the confidence to independently own projects and assignments. A solutions-oriented mindset, initiative, adaptability, and a willingness to take ownership in a fast-moving agency environment.
