Operations Specialist

Accountabilities: Provide operational leadership and oversight for systemwide initiatives involving complex projects, executive sponsors, and multiple stakeholders. Support the development, planning, implementation, and delivery of strategic initiatives aligned with organizational priorities and culture. Apply standardized project management methodologies, processes, and tools to maintain consistency and accountability across initiatives. Coordinate stakeholders and project activities to ensure initiatives are delivered within approved budgets, schedules, and quality expectations. Monitor project progress, identify risks or operational challenges, and support timely resolution of issues. Contribute to quality improvement and cost-reduction initiatives where applicable. Facilitate collaboration across departments and support effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. Maintain appropriate project documentation, processes, and reporting to support transparency and successful execution. Requirements Associate degree required; bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred. At least 2 years of professional experience, preferably within a healthcare or similarly complex operational environment. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred, or willingness and ability to obtain certification within one year of hire. Experience supporting or leading projects involving multiple stakeholders, competing priorities, and defined timelines. Experience with quality improvement, operational optimization, or cost-reduction initiatives preferred. Strong organizational and project coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to engage stakeholders at different organizational levels. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Demonstrated attention to detail and commitment to delivering work within established standards, budgets, and deadlines.
