Accountabilities:: As an Occitan Language Specialist and AI Trainer, you will contribute specialized linguistic knowledge to the evaluation and improvement of AI-generated content. Error Identification: Detect, categorize, and document recurring linguistic errors, inconsistencies, and areas where model performance can be improved. Training Data Quality: Provide precise linguistic feedback to strengthen the accuracy, relevance, and reliability of datasets used to train language models. Prompt and Evaluation Improvement: Collaborate with project teams to refine prompts, evaluation methods, and linguistic guidelines based on observed model behavior. Quality Standards: Apply consistent linguistic criteria when assessing outputs and contribute to improving evaluation practices. Continuous Improvement: Share expert recommendations that help AI systems produce more natural, contextually appropriate, and culturally sensitive Occitan content. Requirements: The ideal candidate is a proficient Occitan language professional with a strong understanding of linguistic structure, usage, and cultural context. Experience in language-focused work and a meticulous approach to reviewing content are essential. The following qualifications are expected: Fluency in Occitan, with a strong command of grammar, syntax, vocabulary, semantics, and idiomatic expressions. Demonstrated professional experience in translation, linguistics, language teaching, editing, proofreading, or a related field. Strong written communication skills and the ability to assess language quality accurately and consistently. Excellent attention to detail when reviewing, annotating, and correcting linguistic content.
